More Growth in East Mesa

Big news in the Mesa! DSV Air and Sea, a leading global transportation and logistics company from Denmark, has made a significant investment in our community. They’ve purchased 87 acres of land for $46 million. That’s around $528,736 per acre – talk about a major deal!

The location is prime: right at the former GM Proving Grounds, near Ellsworth and Pecos roads. This move isn’t just about buying land; it’s about building a future. A massive 1.73 million-square-foot warehouse and a regional headquarters that will stand as a beacon of growth and opportunity in Mesa.

The plans include a 30,000-square-foot office building and a two-story warehouse. This isn’t just any development; it’s a strategic move to make Mesa a hub for warehousing, distribution, transportation, and services for various industries.

This project is a game-changer for Mesa. It’s set to transform the area around Arizona State Route 24 and Ellsworth into one of Mesa’s most important and bustling destinations. And there’s more on the horizon! Plans include creating a “dense, quality, lifestyle environment” with residential, retail, and corporate spaces – a walkable, vibrant community that Mesa has yet to see.

So, what does this mean for us in Mesa? It’s a sign of growth, opportunity, and a bright future. Stay tuned as we watch this exciting development unfold!
